A husband-and-wife team.
A personal approach.

Hello, we’re Laura and Craig—the people behind LCD Landscapes.

We’ve owned and run our business together since 2015, combining Craig’s hands-on craftsmanship with the care and organisation that keep everything moving behind the scenes.

With over 20 years in the trade, we specialise in paving and thoughtfully finished outdoor spaces across South Manchester, Cheshire and within a 20-mile radius of Manchester Airport.

For us, it’s personal. Our name is on every project, so we care about the details: how it’s built, how it looks and how you feel about the finished result.

Meet Laura

My background is in healthcare, and working with people has always been something I enjoy. That’s one of my favourite parts of LCD Landscapes too—coming out to meet you, hearing your ideas and helping you explore what could work for your space.

Alongside looking after enquiries and the diary, I help with material choices, bring samples and share recommendations. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the choices you make, with friendly, professional advice along the way.

When Craig first talked about starting the business, taking that leap felt a little daunting. But his passion was clear, and I’ve been his biggest supporter from day one. Looking back, it was the best decision he made.

Our business is run from our home office, usually with our two bulldogs, Dolly and Dozer, snoring nearby. They take their role as office assistants very seriously!

Meet Craig

I’ve loved working outdoors since I was a kid, looking after the garden and building ponds. I knew I wanted to turn that passion into a trade. After gaining experience, I started LCD Landscapes in 2015 to bring my own ideas, creativity and work ethic directly to customers.

With over 20 years in the trade, paving, brick walls and raised beds are still my favourite things to build. I enjoy playing with shapes, patterns and different levels—turning a wet, boggy garden into a space the whole family can use and enjoy.

I like helping people see possibilities they might not have considered. Whether you have a clear idea or need some guidance, I’ll explain which materials and layouts will work for your garden, how you want to use it and your budget.

Laura and I build on each other’s ideas, bringing together what you need with a design and material choice that suit your household.

Outside work, I’m usually out running, walking or heading into the hills with Laura. Once we’ve worn ourselves out, I’m happiest at home with a good film or TV series, Laura and the dogs, and the fire on.

Planning a new outdoor space? Here are a few things clients often want to know. Select a question to read more.

How long will my patio or garden project take?

Every project is different. The size of the area, access, ground conditions and materials all affect the time needed, and weather can sometimes change the schedule. We’ll talk through the likely timescale when we quote and keep you updated as the work progresses.

Which paving material is right for my garden?

The best choice depends on the look you like, how you’ll use the space, your budget and how much upkeep you’re comfortable with. We work with porcelain, limestone, Indian sandstone and slate. We can bring samples, explain the options and help you choose a material that suits your garden.

Can you help if I’m not sure what I want?

Absolutely. You don’t need a finished design before getting in touch. Laura and Craig can talk through your ideas, suggest layouts and materials, and help you see what’s possible. We’ll consider how your household uses the garden and what you’d like to spend.

Do you offer free measures and quotations?

Yes, we offer free, no-obligation measures and quotations within our service area. Call, email or send us a WhatsApp message with your location and a little about the work you have in mind. Photos are helpful too. We can then arrange a visit to measure up and discuss your ideas.

Can you help with drainage and uneven garden levels?

Yes. We can assess drainage and changes in level as part of planning your project, and discuss suitable options such as drainage channels, steps or raised beds. The right approach depends on your garden and the existing ground conditions, so we’ll look at these during our visit.

Do you take on smaller jobs as well as larger projects?

We’re happy to discuss individual patios, paths, garden walls and steps as well as larger transformations. Send us a few details and photos of what you have in mind, and we’ll let you know how we can help and discuss availability.
